At Rising Aspirations, our core classes take place on Saturdays! It's the best day of the week! Students attend our popular and inclusive SATURDAY THEATRE SCHOOL, and gain skills across dance, singing and acting, in one fun session!

Whether your child is a LITTLE STAR (Aged 3-6) or MAIN SCHOOL STUDENT (Aged 7-18), they'll have tons of fun with us! Come along for a free trial!
Dance
Dance technique, rhythm and coordination are taught using a range of exercises, floor work and choreography. Students learn to dance with confidence, energy and expression for the stage, as well as developing skills in listening, cooperation and taking direction.
Drama
Children learn to use facial expression and gestures to convey emotions through stimulating drama games, warm ups and exercises. We encourage our students to explore and engage whilst increasing confidence.
Singing
A variety of songs and vocal exercises are used to teach children about pitch, tempo and rhythm. Children learn to sing in a group whilst understanding projection and dynamics for the stage!
Performance Opportunities
Little Stars take part in our Full-Scale Production each year. There are several other opportunities to perform, such as Christmas musicals and showcases.
Confidence and Communication
Children learn to communicate effectively with both peers and adults. We encourage communication, listening, compromising and interaction in all our sessions!
Imagination and Creativity
In Little Stars sessions, we love to use our imagination! Children learn to think creatively, story-tell and create characters through various games, warm ups and exercises; increasing confidence and creativity!
Dance
Dance lessons include funky warm-up routines, technical exercises and exciting movement sequences. Children develop rhythm, coordination, spatial awareness and energy through high energy dance routines, whilst increasing listening and team work skills.
Drama
Children learn to use facial expression and gestures to convey emotions through stimulating drama games, warm ups and exercises. We encourage our students to explore and engage imaginatively with text, characters, puppets, masks, stories and dressing up!
Singing
A variety of songs and vocal exercises are used to teach children about pitch, timing, tempo and rhythm. Children learn to sing in a group whilst understanding projection and dynamics for the stage! Our students love working with instruments and music!
Main School
Our popular Main School session includes all three performance disciplines (Drama, Singing & Dance) in one 3 hour session, taught by three Heads of Department. Sessions are engaging, diverse and allow children to learn a wide range of performance skills, whilst developing in confidence and creativity!

Dance
Dance technique, rhythm and coordination are taught using a range of stimulating technical exercises, floor work and choreography. Students learn to dance with confidence, musicality, energy and expression for the stage, as well as developing skills in listening, cooperation and taking direction.
Drama
Drama lessons include tuition in improvisation, vocal technique, body language, facial expressions and script work. Students take part in engaging and imaginative drama exercises and projects which encourage team-work, communication, expression and confidence through acting.
Singing
Students learn skills in pitch placement, vibrato, projection and articulation in our singing sessions, with focus on unison and harmony work. All students develop their confidence as solo and/or ensemble performers whilst expanding their musical theatre knowledge and repertoire.
Performance Opportunities
We provide several performance opportunities throughout the year for our Main School students who learn to work together, communicate, develop creativity and become dedicated to the craft of performing arts! This includes a Full-Scale Musical Production, an annual showcase and concerts.
Life Long Skills
Confidence, communication, dedication,
team-work, self-awareness, resilience, leadership, empathy and creativity are the building blocks to being successful as a performer and in life! We encourage students to demonstrate these life long skills each week!
Progression
Main School students’ progress is monitored by teachers with focus on each child's individual journey. We offer a 'Saturday Superstar' Award each week and various certificates at our annual presentation evening, including awards for improvement, enthusiasm and dedication.
