MEET THE TEAM
Laura graduated with a PGCE in Secondary Education (Drama) from Goldsmith's University as well as a First Class BA Hons in Performing Arts (Film, TV & Stage) from Buckinghamshire New University. Prior to this, Laura studied Musical Theatre at The Oxford School of Drama. Laura has trained with LAMDA and Trinity College London, obtaining a DIP LCM in Musical Theatre Teaching & LAMDA Acting Grade 8.
Owner, Principal & Head of Drama
Emily graduated with a First Class BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Wolverhampton, has completed a Diploma in Education and Training and is currently at NQT Lecturer in Performing Arts. Through her training, Emily has been awarded the Nigel Robbins award for performance and the Joseph Carvill Memorial Award of Excellence in Musical Theatre Vocal Studies.
Head of Singing
Shannon graduated from the University of Chichester with a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre & Acting for Film. She is also trained in ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern and in RAD Ballet, up to advanced level. Shannon has experience performing with prestigious companies such as, The Russian Ballet, The English Youth Ballet and The English National Ballet.
Head of Dance
Georgia began as a student at Rising Aspirations back in 2010, before training with Judith Hockaday School of Dance & Drama. Georgia has also completed a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts and is a qualified Street and Commercial Dance Teacher. .
Little Stars Leader & Dance Teacher
Ellen trained at Wilkes Academy in Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance as well as achieving Intermediate Ballet, Modern and Musical Theatre. Ellen performed in the touring production of 'The Secret Garden' playing Mark Lennox and has also worked professionally abroad with TUI and Brittany Ferries as a performer.
Musical Theatre Teacher
With over 20 years experience leading children's singing groups, Helen's knowledge of music teaching is extensive. Helen started her Rising Aspirations journey as Deputy Principal & Singing Teacher in 2010, before becoming our Musical Director in 2018. Helen's passion is using music to help children reach their full potential and confidence.
Musical / Band Director
Ella trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Lyrical from the age of three, before completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts with Stagedoor Learning. Ella has competed and successfully reached the All England National Finals and has worked with Tap Attack Associate Scheme.
Teaching Assistant - Drama
Lucy has been member of our Saturday Theatre School for six years and was the first winner of our Shining Star Award. Lucy is currently working towards her Grade 5 LAMDA in Acting and is studying GCSE Drama and Music. Lucy has performed as Tracy in Hairspray, July in Annie, Poor Baby in Whistle Down The Wind and Jennyanydots in Cats.
